Paediatric First Aid
Paediatric First aid training courses across Essex, our range of regulated and unregulated courses are packed with material to teach students about providing primary first aid to children and infants, and will leave students confident in their knowledge and ability to perform first aid should the situation require it.
All paediatric courses cover the asthma and adrenaline procedure.

Our Paediatric Courses
Paediatric First Aid - Level 3
Ofsted Level 3 Early Years 12 hours First Aid Training Courses for all practitioners in early years settings ie Nursery, Playschool, Breakfast or After School Clubs, Infant Schools, Clubs and Organisations where infants are in their care with no parent present
All Courses Are Fully Approved by Essex County Council and therefore meet the requirements of OFSTED, PACEY and NCMA 12 hours Level 3 RQF Certificate training.

Emergency Paediatric First Aid - Level 3
This is Paediatric EFA Level 3 course specifically designed for schools, or any other organisation where young people are present and there is no requirement for them to have the 12 hour Paediatric qualification.
Approved by Qualsafe Awards, an Awarding Organisation recognised by Ofqual to offer regulated qualifications
Level 3 RQF Qualification
Cost £60 per person
Schools First Aid Training Courses
Schools first aid training courses are not regulated but is useful where your first aid needs assessment has identified this as an appropriate course to meet the requirements of your school.
Cost £45 per person (Discount available for large groups)
Course material includes:
- HSE guidelines and regulations
- First aid in the workplace
- Incident management
- Life threatening conditions
- Primary survey
- Recovery position
- CPR Adult and/or Child
- Bleeding control
- Allergic reactions
- Burns & Scalds
- Minor Injuries and Illnesses
Midday Playground Appointed Person Courses
This course is to provide immediate response to all incidents in school but NOT to replace qualified first aid personnel.
Cost: £200 for groups up to 20 plus £5 per person first aid manual
Duration: up to 2 – 4 hours (Small numbers price on request)

Please ensure that your school complies with its legal obligation of having sufficient trained personnel in the right courses to deal with difficult or life threatening conditions. The purpose of Midday & Playground First Aid is to ensure that minor injuries can be treated by suitably qualified staff who have immediate responsibility for the children in the playground or in the dining hall.
