With a wealth of experience from years  in the field, training and working in the police force and as a First Responder with the East of England Ambulance Trust, trainer Philip Hennessey is fully accredited and ready to begin your training across a variety of First Aid training courses in and around Southend and the surrounding areas.

Our Courses

Whether you’ve previously been a qualified first aider or this is your first time embarking on a first aid training course in Southend, all of our courses cater to each level of ability and pre-existing knowledge to ensure you leave the training centre confident in your abilities.

EFAW & FAW - Southend

EFAW Level 3 RQF Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) HSE approved training courses for Adults.

All courses will include defibrillator training.

Where your risk assessment reveals that a serious bleed could be catastrophic, courses and assessment will include haemostatic dressings & tourniquets.

Paediatric First Aid - Southend

Paediatric Courses Ofsted Level 3 Early Years 12 hours First Aid Training Courses for all practitioners in early years settings ie Nursery, Playschool, Breakfast or After School Clubs, Infant Schools, Clubs and Organisations where infants are in their care with no parent present. All paediatric courses cover the asthma and adrenaline procedure.

Please note: it is your responsibility to ensure you attend the correct First Aid Training courses that meet the needs of your risk assessment by an approved company.

Performing Due Dilligence

On 1st October 2013 the HSE approval of first aid training providers ended and the responsibility for ensuring the standards of workplace first aid training moved from the HSE to employers.

Due diligence compliance employers must prove Due Diligence (HSE definition and compliance guidance).

If the First Aid training company does not prove due diligence, the certificates and training are not valid.
